Tony Dipre
Men's Track and Field
Allegheny's Tony Dipre set a meet record and posted an NCAA automatic-qualifying time while winning the mile at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. He was also a member of the winning Distance Medley Relay team for the Gators, who placed third among nine teams at Denison.

Dipre, who was named the NCAC Distance Runner of the Year, claimed his individual win with a time of 4:10.84 and held off Denison's Makorobondo Salukombo (4:12.23). The previous meet record was set in 2009 by the Gators' Jeramie Parker (4:13.89). The Blue and Gold has now won three straight indoor miles at NCACs.

Mike Vlah, Alex Gorski and Chris Marker joined Dipre on the DMR squad, which clocked in at 10:35.79.

Women's Track and Field
Beth Muller fell one win short of her second straight sprint trifecta, but still won the 55- and 200-yard dashes, to lead the Allegheny women's indoor track and field team to third place out of eight teams at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Denison. She was named Sprinter/Hurdler of the Year for the second straight season.

Muller repeated as the 55 champ with a time of 7.51 seconds and then successfully defended her title in the 200 (:26.37).

As the defending champ in the 400, Muller was beat out by Marissa Clardy of Oberlin. Muller finished the race in 1:00.08 while Clardy came in at :59.39.

DELAWARE, Ohio -- Jeramie Parker won the individual crown and Chris Marker placed second, leading the Allegheny men's cross country team to its sixth consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference Championship at Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.

Parker navigated the eight-kilometer course in 25:53.0 while Marker finished in 25:57.6. Zac Ross was sixth in 26:30.0, Tony Dipre took seventh in 26:39.0 and Jake Zimmerman placed ninth in 26:50.9 to complete the Gator scoring.

Other finishers for Allegheny included Ryan Sullivan (15th, 27:16.4); Ryan Hanson (19th, 27:31.2); Matt Lacombe (21st, 27:37.9); Pat McLaughlin (24th, 27:46.2); Ben Eyer (27th, 27:50.7); Mike Faix (49th, 28:42.6); and Mike Vlah (64th, 29:13.5).

Wabash was the runner-up to the Gators with 82 points. It was followed by Oberlin (85), Ohio Wesleyan (103), Denison (104), Kenyon (161), Wooster (189), Wittenberg (218), Earlham (264) and Hiram (283).

The Gators, who are the top-ranked team in the Mideast Region, will compete next at Mideast Regional, hosted by Lehigh on Nov. 14.
