Beth  Muller
Women's Track and Field
Beth Muller fell one win short of her second straight sprint trifecta, but still won the 55- and 200-yard dashes, to lead the Allegheny women's indoor track and field team to third place out of eight teams at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Denison. She was named Sprinter/Hurdler of the Year for the second straight season.

Muller repeated as the 55 champ with a time of 7.51 seconds and then successfully defended her title in the 200 (:26.37).

As the defending champ in the 400, Muller was beat out by Marissa Clardy of Oberlin. Muller finished the race in 1:00.08 while Clardy came in at :59.39.
Tony Dipre
Men's Track and Field
Allegheny's Tony Dipre set a meet record and posted an NCAA automatic-qualifying time while winning the mile at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. He was also a member of the winning Distance Medley Relay team for the Gators, who placed third among nine teams at Denison.

Dipre, who was named the NCAC Distance Runner of the Year, claimed his individual win with a time of 4:10.84 and held off Denison's Makorobondo Salukombo (4:12.23). The previous meet record was set in 2009 by the Gators' Jeramie Parker (4:13.89). The Blue and Gold has now won three straight indoor miles at NCACs.

Mike Vlah, Alex Gorski and Chris Marker joined Dipre on the DMR squad, which clocked in at 10:35.79.

DELAWARE, Ohio -- Mia Symoniak finished ninth individually while Katie Stancik and Kelly Gallagher were 11th and 12th, respectively, to lead the Allegheny women's cross country team to third place at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Ohio Wesleyan.

Symoniak clocked in at 24:12.3, Stancik crossed the line in 24:17.9 and Gallagher finished in 24:19.4 for the Gators, who compiled 82 team points. Oberlin won the team title with 33 points while second-place Wittenberg had 76.

Sam Zink and Emily Dunn also scored for Allegheny. Zink placed 24th in 25:00.6 while Dunn took 26th in 25:01.9.

Other Gator finishers included Lynn Simonton (29th, 25:19.6); Angie Dyer (35th, 25:31.9); Hallie Dilley (36th, 25:39.8); Amber Wetzel (48th, 26:13.8); Hannah Serlin (54th, 26:26.2); and Amanda Horth (62nd, 26:51.4).

Following Allegheny in the team standings were Kenyon (93 points), Wooster (114), Ohio Wesleyan (126), Denison (168), Earlham (266) and Hiram (281).

The Gators will compete next at the Mideast Regional, which will be held at Lehigh on Nov. 14.
