BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Mia Symoniak finished 25th and Katie Stancik was 31st, leading the Allegheny women's cross country team to eighth place at the Mideast Regional, hosted by Muhlenberg at Lehigh University on Saturday.
Symoniak navigated the 6-kilometer course in 22:48.7 while Stancik finished in 23:07.8. Other scorers for the Gators were Kelly Gallagher, who took 50th in 23:40.8; Hallie Dilley, who was 92nd in 24:13.1; and Samantha Zink, who grabbed 101st in 24:22.9.
The Gators scored 292 team points, finishing behind region champion Johns Hopkins (109), Dickinson (113), Haverford (146), Grove City (175), Gettysburg (195), Elizabethtown (259) and Carnegie Mellon (267).
