Knox named NCAC Swimmer of the Week

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Megan Knox, a junior on the Allegheny women's swimming and diving team, has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Swimmer of the Week for the week of Oct. 25 - 31.
Knox posted three individual wins on the weekend, collecting two in the win over W.V. Wesleyan and another against Grove City. She was the leader of the pack to earn her first out of two individual wins in the 200 freestyle (2:00.71). Knox’s other victory came in the 500 freestyle. She edged teammate Smith with a time of 5:26.63. On Saturday, she swam 2:00.09 to win the 200 freestyle.
Allegheny is back in action on Saturday at Westminster. Meet time is 1 p.m.
