Grossman named NCAC Player of the Week

MEADVILLE, Pa. - Meg Grossman, a member of the Allegheny women's lacrosse team, has been named North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Player of the Week. It is the first time she has earned the honor this season.
Grossman, a junior midfielder, recorded 10 goals and three assists to lead the Gators (4-4, 1-1 NCAC) to a 2-0 week. She tallied five goals and two assists vs. W&J, before posting five more goals and one assists in a 23-10 win over Oberlin. Grossman also added 11 draw controls and eight ground balls.
She leads the team with 27 goals and eight assists for 35 points.
Allegheny's game at Wooster, scheduled for today at 5 p.m., has been postponed. Make-up time and date to be determined. The Gators return to action on Thursday against Fredonia. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
