MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny men's soccer team had no answer for a furious Baldwin-Wallace attack and fell to the Yellow Jackets, 5-0, in non-conference action at Frank B. Fuhrer Field on Wednesday.
Pat Brennan scored in the 33rd minute for Baldwin-Wallace, with an assist from Andrew Thompson, and the visitors never looked back.
Brennan assisted the second Yellow Jacket goal, which was scored by Noah Eubanks in the 40th minute. Cory Weidner expanded the Baldwin-Wallace to 3-0 with his goal in the 44th minute.
In the second half, Carlin Vandendriessche and Tyler Leister scored 46 seconds apart. Vandendriessche tallied in the 58th minute with an assist from Nate Smith. Leister found the net during the 59th.
Russ Mika made two saves and claimed the victory in net for the Jackets (3-5). He was relieved by Ryan Hulings.
Between the pipes for Allegheny, Andrew Shirley stopped three shots.
The Gators (4-3) will look to rebound on Saturday when they open North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday. Allegheny will visit Wittenberg for a noon kickoff.
