She was named Sprinter/Hurdler of the Year for the second straight season.

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- Aaron Brock and Chase Haltom scored 20 points each to lead Wabash over the Allegheny men's basketball team, 86-65, handing the Gators their first North Coast Athletic Conference loss of the season.

Brock also had five rebounds and three steals, Haltom made five assists and Wes Smith grabbed seven rebounds for the Little Giants (7-5, 2-2), who have won five consecutive contests against the Blue and Gold including two NCAC Tournament games.

Led by Henry Heeter, Allegheny jumped out to an early lead. Heeter scored five points in the early minutes, including a 3-pointer, which gave the Gators a 13-6 lead with 15:14 left in the first half. The visitors twice led by seven, but could not further extend the advantages.

An eight-point run helped the Little Giants to a 33-24 lead with 4:19 remaining in the first. Smith put in a layup and then Brock and Haltom followed with back-to-back threes.

Wabash took a 39-32 lead into the intermission, gradually building its lead before delivering the knockout punch -- a 14-1 run which left the Little Giants in possession of a 72-49 lead with 6:15 showing on the clock. Six different scorers contributed during the stretch.

George Raftis had 14 points, which helped him reach 1,120 all-time to move into 16th on Allegheny's all-time scoring list. He passed Marty Orzechowski (1973-77), who scored 1,118 points as a Gator. Raftis is now 13 points behind Derrick Owens (1989-93), who sits in 15th with 1,133 all-time points.
