Intrieri Named NCAC Swimmer of the Week

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Brandon Intrieri, a freshman on the Allegheny men’s swimming and diving team was named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Swimmer of the Week.
Intrieri won four individual events and swam a leg on a winning relay team to help the Gators post a 1-1 record in their final dual meets over the weekend. In the win over Baldin-Wallace, he won the 200 free (1:48.20) and the 100 free (48.60). Against Edinboro, he clocked in at 21.97 in the 100 free and 52.63 in the100 butterfly, before swimming the final leg on the winning 200 free relay (1:29.93).
Intrieri hold the top times for Allegheny in the 50 free (21.53), 100 free (46.91), 200 free (1:47.39) and 100 butterfly (51.33).
The Gators return to action on Feb. 11 at the NCAC Championships. Game time is 1 p.m.
