Bell Named NCAC Player of the Week

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Brittany Bell, a senior guard on the Allegheny women’s basketball team, has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Player of the Week.
Bell shot 57 percent from the floor and 52 percent from behind the arc, averaging 15 points in a 2-1 week for the Gators. She knocked in 11 triples on the week, including five against Wittenberg for a team-high 17 points. Bell also added 13 and 15 points in the wins over Hiram and Earlham, respectively.
On the season, she ranks second on the team with 9.8 points per game. Bell is second in the NCAC in three-point field-goal percentage (.385) and is fourth in three-pointer per game (2.24).
Allegheny returns to action on Wednesday at Wooster. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
