CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- Led by John Holm's three home runs, the Wabash Little Giants eliminated the Allegheny baseball team from the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament with an 11-5 decision at V.A. Memorial Stadium.

Holm crushed his dingers off of three different Gator pitchers, finishing with a 4-for-5 game with five RBIs and three runs. He is now Wabash's single-season record holder for homers, RBIs and total bases.

Wabash scored three runs in the first inning, courtesy of a three-run homer by Holm, and eventually built a 7-0 lead through four frames. Tanner Coggins added an RBI single in the second, David Seibel and Brian Lares smacked RBI singles in the third and Holm then homered in the fourth.

The Gators recorded a pair of runs in the fifth, trimming their deficit to 7-2. Jeff Dassner led off the frame with a double and then scored on a Zack Nichols double. Nichols later scored on an RBI single by Eric Hansen.

The Little Giants scored four runs in their final two at-bats, ballooning their lead to 11-2 before the Blue and Gold scratched across three tallies in the ninth. John Pennington provided a two-out, three-run double in the seventh before Holm hammered his third blast in the eighth.

In the Allegheny ninth, Dassner reached on a single, setting the stage for James Fago's two-run bomb. Hansen later walked and scored the Gators' final run on an RBI single by Aaron Lynch.

Wabash starting pitcher Keegan Leckrone went the distance for the win. He allowed five runs on 10 hits while recording three strikeouts and one walk.

David Strawser started on the hill for Allegheny. He pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowing six runs on 10 hits. Justin Abbott provided four solid innings of relief work.

Offensively, Dassner finished 3-for-4 with two runs. Matt Stahl batted 2-for-4.

For Wabash, Pennington was 4-for-5 while Coggins finished 3-for-5.
