Allegheny College Athletics

Dear Gator Fans and Alumni,

I am honored and privileged to represent Allegheny College and its men’s basketball program.  As I begin my tenure as head men’s basketball coach at Allegheny College, I am extremely excited about this tremendous opportunity.  I truly believe that together we can accomplish great things at Allegheny.  As I prepare for our first season together, I want you to know that we will be a program of high standards.  We will aim high in all that we do.  Our program will be focused on three goals each year.  First, members of the men’s basketball team will be positive influences on the Allegheny College community.  Community involvement will be encouraged and practiced as a team.  Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, our team will strive to finish each academic year with a team GPA of 3.2.  Finally, on the court, we will be a team that plays extremely hard.  We will be a team that is dedicated to executing on both ends.  Our success as a team will be determined by our ability to defend man-to-man, rebound, and execute offensively in the half court.  Our ultimate goal each season will be to make the NCAA tournament.  I am confident that each goal will be accomplished over time. In large part, our ability to reach these goals will depend on my ability to recruit, motivate, and develop quality individuals.  I am excited about the prospect of “selling” Allegheny College and the many great things it has to offer.  

In closing, I truly believe that the men’s basketball program at Allegheny College is your program.  I will do my very best to represent you and the college in the best light possible.  As we move forward, I want you to understand that our success will be a direct result of your involvement in our program.  In the end, your success is what we will be selling to prospective students.   My wish is that you always feel connected to our success as a program.  I encourage your feedback and insight.  I look forward to developing meaningful relationships as we attempt to build on the past success of the men’s basketball program at Allegheny College.
